You may be familiar with the term Justice of the Peace. Technically, this position doesn't exist in New Jersey. However, our services offer what you would expect from going to a Justice of the Peace.
We are a team of professional wedding ceremony officiants that will guide you through the process of your wedding ceremony. We will provide you with forms and instructions for obtaining your marriage license. We'll also file your completed marriage license for you. We also offer optional photography services designed to capture your big day and to help keep you on budget. We also offer beautiful fresh floral services to add elegance to your big day.
Sorry, we do not offer any type of rental services. Since you're planning an elopement wedding, seating really isn't necessary. If seating is important to you, consider asking your guests to "BYOC" (Bring your own chair). This way, if your guests want to sit, they will have the option. We're willing to bet that almost all of your guests will arrive without a chair.
Ugh! Isn't it awful that you feel the need to ask this question? At South Jersey Officiants, there is no room in our lives for discrimination of any kind. Our requirements are pretty simple. Our officiant will be honored to marry you, as long as you answer YES to all of the following:
Oh, one last thing. We don't use terms like gay-wedding or same-sex marriage. We prefer to use terms like wedding and marriage. You don't drive a gay car or live in a same-sex house. Why call it anything other than a wedding? That would be silly.
Sorry, we are not able to assist you with lodging. South Jersey Officiants services are limited to the planning of your ceremony, photography, and elopement floral order. If you're coming in from out-of-town and would like to secure a room, we suggest using one of the popular lodging websites, such as Trip Advisor, Travelocity, or Trivago.
We are a group of traveling wedding officiants and we do not offer a brick and mortar location. The ceremony can take place anywhere that you choose. Most of the Atlantic City area elopement ceremonies take place on one of the local beaches.
There are many possible locations that you can hold your wedding ceremony in the Atlantic City area. Every beach, restaurant, and casino has their own policies (and possible fees) for the usage of the space. If you would like to have a beach ceremony, South Jersey Officiants will provide you with the necessary details needed to obtain a permit (if necessary). Please note, however, that due to liability concerns, South Jersey Officiants cannot obtain a location permit or reservation on your behalf. You will need to complete this step if necessary.
A secret wedding! How exciting!! Don't worry, we can keep a secret and we won't tell anyone, for the most part. We are obligated to share with the State of New Jersey. You know, that whole marriage license thing...
The length of the ceremony will depend on the service level that you select. Generally, a private elopement ceremony will be much shorter than a gold elopement ceremony. The length of the ceremony will also depend on your wishes. Generally speaking, the ceremony can range from five to thirty minutes in length. Keep in mind that there are no requirements. If you have a preference, all you have to do is let us know.
Absolutely! We're happy to include elements that will incorporate your children in the ceremony. They're a huge part of your life, and it's only right that they be part of your wedding ceremony too.
We would love to see your furry friends at your wedding ceremony! The only pet limitations will be based on the area you select for the ceremony. Keep in mind the only limitations will be based on the location/venue for your wedding ceremony. Atlantic City does not allow pets on their beaches, but don't let that stop you. There are other local beaches that are pet-friendly. Bring your pooch along. Sit. Stay. Fetch. Whatever.
Sorry, not at this time. All of our officiants offer wedding ceremonies in English only.
We are happy to create a ceremony that incorporates your customs and beliefs. If you prefer to have a civil (non-religious) ceremony, we can do that too. It's your wedding. Just let your officiant know what you prefer.
